Parks and Recreation

With 1.5 miles of open space and 4.5 miles of trails, Walden offers a rich outdoor experience for residents including hiking, biking, and fly fishing in one of Colorado’s most colorful settings.
Walden can offer these features because of our open space and rolling hills that offer views of the Rocky Mountains and Pikes Peak along with trails and quiet mountain ponds.

Enjoy the best of Colorado winters as the ponds freeze over and snow covers the land. In the spring enjoy Colorado wild flowers, green grasses and bright blue skies. The summer brings moderate temperatures, perfect for enjoying the trails, fishing in the ponds or staying home for a barbecue on your deck.
