Built to be tough yet beautiful, MoistureShield® durable composite decks out perform other brand name composite, maintenance-heavy wood or plastic-like PVC decks.

Offering one of the best warranties in the industry, MoistureShield® and Jayden Homes recommend removing snow and ice from your deck as soon as safely possible.  Snow should be shoveled or swept off your deck.  To remove ice, MoistureShield®, says using calcium chloride or rock salt is completely safe on MoistureShield® deck products.  However, homeowners should be aware that Jayden Homes advises against using chemical snow melt products or rock salt in areas that come in contact with concrete patios, sidewalks, or front porches.  Use of snow removal chemicals and rock salt can cause concrete spalling.
