Danielle Doyle is a second-generation builder following her dad’s footsteps at Jayden Homes. She has been involved with the Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs more than 7 years. In 2017, Danielle was elected by her peers to the CSHBA board of directors. Two years later in 2019 Danielle was nominated into our Emerging Leaders Program. The program was developed in 2016 by CSHBA leadership with the goal of identifying and developing future leaders with a deep dive into the association at the local, state and national levels.
In 2020, Danielle’s tenacity and leadership were brought to the forefront as she led our Parade of Homes Committee in a very challenging year of COVID. She “came off the bench” and led with a sense of calm that resonated with the committee and more importantly her fellow Parade builders. She formed a task force to create four possible scenarios about how the 2020 Parade of Homes would look on September 11 from a live Parade of Homes to a virtual only Parade of Homes. Danielle met with Dr. Leon Kelly, Chief Medical Examiner / El Paso County Coroner and Diane May, El Paso County Attorney, relaying the steps the 2020 Parade of Homes were planning on taking and requested their input on attendee safety measures creating a partnership between the Parade of Homes and the county. The final result included contract tracing, preplanned traffic flow plans and minimal touch points throughout the homes.
Danielle became the 2020 Parade of Homes media spokesperson creating a positive relationship with the media echoing a COVID aware mantra before and during the Parade of Homes. The 2020 Virtual Parade launched after the live Parade and Danielle once again was the voice and presence for the introductory video.
As if this was not enough challenge, it is worth noting that Danielle did all of this with grace and composure while pregnant with her first child, building an award-winning Parade of Homes entry!
